Based on the SDS program that has been implemented in more than 1,000 partner and non-partner schools in Indonesia, DBE1 has further developed SDS++ software. SDS and SDS++ are programs that can be used by schools to manage and store various data, such as School Profile, BOS transaction, and produce supporting reports such School Work Plan and School Report Card.
Unlike SDS that was designed only for schools, SDS++ includes data management on school, sub-district, and district levels. SDS++ outputs could be used not only at school level but also at national level. This is possible because SDS++ includes two additional features: Monthly Report and Lembar Individu (LI-SD of PadatiWeb) which directly relates to MONE’s EMIS. In October 2009, DBE1 together with PSP MONE Team has field-tested SDS++ in Pidie and Aceh Tengah District, Aceh

Tuban and Bojonoegoro District are DBE1 partner districts in East Java Province. DBE1 has been assisting 179 SD-MI of DBE1 schools and 370 SD-MI and 94 MTS of dissemination schools in East Java in the SDS implementation. On 9 February 2010, DBE1 held a workshop to support Tuban and Bojonegoro District Education Offices to disseminate the SDS++ Program. This workshop was attended by Ibu Dra. Endang Tri Meidya In, M.Si, Secretary of Tuban District Education Office; Bapak Rasmadji S.Pd, M.Si, Head of Primary Education Curriculum Section of Bojonegoro District Education Office and other representatives from Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Tuban District and District Education Office from Tuban and Bojonegoro District. In her speech, Ibu Endang said that "Dissemination of SDS is expected to support schools in managing school profile data and producing BOS reports which required by District Education Office every 3 months. We hope that schools will realize more about the importance of data to school.”

SDS++Program Architecture
In this workshop, DBE1 explained that SDS++ facilitates the data flow between School and Sub-District Education Office (UPTD), between Sub-DEO (UPTD) and District Education Office, so that the workload will be distributed and not accumulated in the District Education Office. SDS++ program is using Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) which will assist District Education Office in presenting data to Head of District, Bappeda and other related institutions.

Participants from the two districts were very enthusiastic. As next step of this workshop, in 2010 Tuban and Bojonegoro District through District Education Office is ready to allocate funds to disseminate SDS++ program in 3 sub-districts in Tuban and 2 sub-districts in Bojonegoro including providing the equipment (computers and PDAs). DBE1 team will provide facilitators to support the implementation of dissemination of SDS++.
